	Enhancing post-secondary developmental education to improve student learning

	MDEC is governed by an Executive Board composed of its elected officers: President, President-Elect, Past President, Secretary, Newsletter Editor, Treasurer, and Membership Chair. The primary responsibilities of the Executive Board is to interpret and implement policy actions adopted by MDEC's membership. As a member of MDEC you are invited to attend the monthly board meetings. Most of the meetings will be held using a conference call format. This enables us to include a variety of people on our board and minimize the travel costs to their institutions.
